RadioCAD are a Yorkshire based Radio Frequency (RF) and EMC design house established in 2001. We specialise in designing RF transmitters, receivers and antennae for telecommunications applications. Previous designs include: VHF transmitters & receivers, UHF transmitters, DVB receivers, helical dipoles and PCB antennae. We also offer an RF consultancy and troubleshooting service.
Design for EMC is a professional service we offer for all electronic industry sectors. This includes training, consultancy, troubleshooting and preview testing at our own in-house EMC test facility based in Cowden on the East Yorkshire coast. Some of the standards we’ve worked with are: EN55022, EN55024, EN55013, FCC part 15, ETS-301-489, 95/54/EC, CISPR25, EN50091-2, EN50130-4, ISO7637, VIDG 05 (PITO), ISO 10605. DSL (broadband) splitter and hybrid design and testing is a service we started to offer in 2003 in response to customer demand. We have designed both consumer premises and exchange end splitters compliant to BT specifications. We have both analogue simulation and test facilities to check that designs comply with: BT SIN 346, BT unbundling specifications, ETSI TS 101 952, ITU-T-G992.1.

Working beta prototypes now calibrate on 2, 4 and 8 wires
Emissions testing up to 7 GHz now possible at Cowden! Following the purchase of new preamp and horn antenna, the chamber was re-calibrated up to 7.0 GHz this month. Extended frequency for FCC and CISPR22 ed5 am1 testing is now being offered to all customers.
